How Robyn Released 17 Pounds and Gained Energy Without Restrictive Dieting

Meet Robyn, a 60-year-old woman who was struggling with weight issues, painful bloating, constant brain fog, and a general lack of energy.

She tried just about every diet, but nothing seemed to be giving her the permanent results she wanted.

Recently, I got the chance to interview Robyn about her honest and personal experience, and here is what she had to say:

What was your life like before you started the Truly Vibrant Reset Program?

“I ate quite clean, but always did have this carb element to my diet.

After my pregnancies, I would gain and lose 10 pounds right at the belly and I often felt lethargic.

I know some of it was related to stress and emotions and I wanted to release this weight, it was hard on my body and joints.

I had brain fog and lacked mental clarity; I would enter a room and forget why I was there!

After you and I chatted, I figured I had nothing to lose. I just wanted to have optimal health and not blame everything on feeling older!

What is life like now that you are on the other side of the Reset Program?

I am very excited to tell you that I have released 17 pounds and I feel powerful!

I wake up early and am ready to get going right away - I feel awesome!

The mental clarity has returned and the bloating is gone. I feel lighter and sexier in my body and so much more comfortable with who I am - I went out and bought new clothes!

I broke the negative mindset I had with the scale and now I use it as a tool to help me stay in a healthy range instead of feeling shame and judgment from it.

I have really learned to listen to and respect my body about what food it wants and what it doesn’t care for or need.

I have moved to eating a more plant-based diet and have much more awareness and gratitude surrounding my meals. “

What did you like most about the reset program?

“It was simple and easy to follow. I loved the weighing and measuring of my portions - it made me realize how important it is to do that as I had been eating way more than I realized.

I liked how simple it was to cook - cooking more in water instead of oil or butter, I loved adding some herbs and just paying attention to the way food tastes. I’ve become more creative with cooking too!

I’ve learned to cut and chew up my food really well to help with digestion; really slowing down and being grateful.”

If you were to recommend the program to your best friend, what would you say?

“I think it is amazing and I have already shared it with many people.

If you are feeling lethargic or have some extra weight that you would like to release, if you want to understand what food does for your body and feel more connected to your food and body, I would highly recommend this program.

If you are frustrated with all the other things you have been trying, you need to do this... I have done a lot of yo-yo dieting but this is the first time I ever did anything that made me feel really empowered and connected to myself.”

What is the difference between this and the other diets you've tried?

“I went on a keto diet for a week and the amount of fat and meat made me feel gross.

I did weight watchers years ago, they did weighing and measuring which was a powerful tool but I was still eating a lot of carbs and foods that weren’t supporting my body.

I tried eating at different times of the day. I went on a low-fat diet for years but I didn't realize that while eating low fat I was also eating a ton of sugar so that didn’t work, obviously!

I also was a vegetarian for a while but that included a lot of pasta and carb eating as well. This one was so simple: a protein, a vegetable, and fruit - right back to the basics!”

Is the Truly Vibrant Reset program sustainable?

“I’m just finishing the 10 weeks, 6 weeks of releasing, and 4 weeks of maintenance… and I plan to keep going!

I will have done 20 weeks by the time I “finish” which is almost half a year of creating new habits and a different mindset around food while learning to listen to what my body wants and needs.

I’m locking this new way of eating into my mind and brain and emotions! I do my grocery shopping around the perimeter of the store now and no longer bring things like crackers into my home so I am not even tempted to make unhealthy choices on a regular basis.“

Anything else you would like to add?

“For anyone who is curious about this program or wondering if you can do it - you can do it!
